Default device it is not switched/notified when we power off the USB device

When I power off the default usb device/sink in wpctl status I don't see * on any other available sink but instead pactl get-default-sink I correctly see a new sink that it is the same also of what I see in Gnome device selector widget.

When I power on the device I see again * on the USB device with wpctl status and it is again aligned with pactl get-default-sink output.

Also it seems that with the power off we never received a default device change.
