Sporadic crashes when starting pavucontrol

With the latest version from git 1 pavucontrol crashes sporadically when starting it. Sometimes only after 10 tries, other times on the first try. The version which is shipped by Arch Linux 2 is not affected. Reverting commit 107a8dd3 3 fixes it. Since I could not reproduce the crash with gdb, I can only attach the output of journalctl.
