Consider terminology of ‘parental controls’
As mentioned here, ‘parental controls’ is a very clear label for this set of controls in the context of a parent/child relationship. However, the same set of controls are useful in other relationships or situations — perhaps a carer/child, or a situation where some restrictions need to be applied to a computer to help an adult from accidentally making mistakes on the computer.
Could we come up with more inclusive, but still clear, labelling, without confusing the original parent/child use case?
