“All Ages” option for Application Suitability is misleading
For a user in a locale that maps to the PEGI rating system, the Application Suitability options are “All Ages”, 3, 7, 12, 16, 18:
Under ESRB the list is “All Ages”, “Early Childhood”, “Everyone”, “Everyone 10+”, “Teen”, “Mature”, and “Adults Only”:
The “All Ages” option corresponds to an empty OARS filter, which means “no restrictions”. Based on its name & position in the list, you might reasonably think it is the most conservative option: even more restrictive than “3” or “Early Childhood”. But in fact it is effectively a synonym for “18” or “Adults Only” (not at a technical level, but in effect).
