menu dtd not published in expected location

I tried to validate a menu file. Per the specification my doctype points to http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/menu-spec/menu-1.0.dtd

However, that URL returns a 404.

I suggest adding a symlink from menu-latest.dtd to menu-1.0.dtd
