Hi there!

We have encountered in practice situations where it would be beneficial to have access to the ivi-application.xml protocol from outside of weston, e.g. when developing clients which use the ivi-shell but they are not directly embedded into a monolithic HMI client. In such cases, each client must have access to the public interface defined by ivi-application.xml.

Is there a reason that this protocol is not publicly installed?
