Fix compile errors for next branches

Fixes issues due to code changes in the next branches of the dependencies:

  • GulkanClient was renamed to GulkanContext
  • Several other functions were removed and/or changed der API

This MR is marked as draft as I'm not sure what the correct fixes for the commit "Compile error workarounds" are. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
